What information should I review before confirming a stay?
Review the property and room description, check-in and check-out dates, total price and any taxes or fees, included amenities, guest capacity, payment terms, and the property's cancellation conditions. A live booking flow should show the final terms before confirmation.
What types of email might Elaris send?
Where applicable to a service you use, service-related emails may include booking confirmations, itinerary changes, receipts, account verification, password or security notices, and replies to support requests. Optional promotional emails—such as offers and destination inspiration—should be sent separately and only where the user has consented.
How does Elaris collect email addresses?
A production service should collect email addresses directly from people who submit a booking, create or secure an account, contact support, or explicitly subscribe to promotional updates. Purchased, scraped, rented, and third-party mailing lists should not be used.
How can I unsubscribe from promotional emails?
Promotional messages should contain a clear unsubscribe link, and requests should be processed promptly. The production service should maintain a suppression record so unsubscribed recipients do not receive further promotional messages. Necessary service messages may still be sent where appropriate.
What if I need help with a booking?
Contact support with your reservation reference, if one has been issued, and the email address associated with the booking. Do not send your password or full payment card details by email.
Can I request access to or deletion of my personal data?
You may contact our support channel to make a privacy request. Requests should be handled according to applicable law, identity-verification needs, and any legitimate retention obligations. A production privacy workflow should document and track these requests.
